“Journaling with style”

Even though blogs are all the craze these days, some people still like to keep their ideas in a private journal of their own. Mémoires is aimed at these people, who are not worried about posting online and receiving comments. Fitted with a clean and attractive interface, Mémoires shows your posts and pictures in the main part of the the program window. You can browse through them in three ways: via the search bar at the bottom right, the list of entries on the left, or the calendar view.

Creating posts and adding photos is very easy, and Mémoires even checks your spelling as you type. We were a bit disappointed not to see any encryption feature, especially as that's what people writing a private journal are looking for most. Although Mémoires is not destined to blogging, it would have been nice to get options to upload entries to online blogging platforms, if ever users decide to post on the web.

Overall though, Mémoires is an attractive and well designed journal for your Mac.
